Taking the ....

For years the church has been graced by an ugly concrete wall adjacent to the north porch.  Village lore says it was a urinal (lovely).  As we now have proper facilities inside the church, and having received the necessary permission from the Chancellor of the Diocese, His Honour Judge Mark Bishop - the concrete wall urinal is no more!  Many thanks to David, Jim, John and Ted for doing - literally - the heavy lifting.

Looks much better, doesn't it?  There is still some tidying up to be done but this is how it was meant to look!

Something a bit different!

There will be a service in the evening of Friday 11 October to set the event off, followed by a Plough Play performance.  More details later!
